清水岩  청수암  Qingshui Cliff

      位于安溪县城西北的蓬莱山，始建于北宋，至今已有950多年。全国惟一一个主殿建设呈“帝”字形结构的岩寺，内奉中国百仙之一——清水祖师，是享誉海内外的朝圣旅游地。区内楼阁殿宇巍峨宏伟，水色山光秀丽神奇，文物古迹星罗棋布。现存文物古迹中，有宋代29处，元代１处，明代８处，清代５处，近代拓展２３处，加上天造地设的自然景观，构成了令人神往的“蓬莱仙境”。清水岩的碑刻、摩崖石刻涉及宋、元、明、清以至现代，其中以宋代“岩图”碑最为珍贵，系省级保护文物。

     The Qingshui Cliff lies on the Mt.Penglai, on the north-west of Anxi county town, first built in the North Song dynasty having a history of 950 years. Inside the temple Master Qingshui, one of the Hundred Chinese Gods is Worshiped. The buildings within the area including the halls, pavilions and the towers are very imposing; the sceneries are beautiful and splendid. Among the relics and antiquities, there are 29 sites from the Song dynasty, 1 site from the Yuan dynasty, 8 from the Ming dynasty, 5 from the Qing dynasty, 23 from modern times plus the natural landscapes forming a “Wonderland of Penglai” that fires our imagination. The stone tablets and the inscriptions on the precipices were carved in the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties and the modern times, among them the “Stone Map” tablet from the Song dynasty is the most precious and is included in the provincial safeguard cultural relic.
