仙公山    Mt. Xiangongshan      선공산

 

      原名“双髻山”，位于洛江区马甲镇，由南北朝时（480—502年）祀“何氏九仙”而得名。其主峰758.5米，以“灵、奇、秀、险”为特色，自然景观与人文景观交相辉映，有丰山洞、白水岩、朝天阁、仙灵桥等胜境。还有宋代朱熹、王十朋，明代张瑞图等历代文人骚客留下的摩崖石刻，是集宗教朝圣、游览观光、休闲娱乐、修学度假于一体的风景名胜区，有“八闽名胜无双境，绝顶蓬莱显九仙”之美誉，为省级风景名胜区和首届泉州市十佳风景名胜区。 

     Mt. Xiangongshan also called “Mt. shuangjishan” is located at Majia Township, Luojiang District, named after the practice of offering sacrifices to “The Nine Celestial Beings with the Surname He”. The main peak 758.5m  high  grand and magnificent. There are multiple temples, pavilions,cultural relics and fascinating tales featured with “graceful, peculiar, pretty and dangerous” reflecting each other with the natural landscapes. There are the Fengshan Grotto, White Water Rock, Chaotian Pavilion, Xianling Bridge and other resort places. In addition, there are inscriptions on the precipices left by the ancient celebrities such as Zhu xi, Wang Shipeng of the Song dynasty and Zhang Ruitu in the Ming dynasty. It was once reputed as “It is matchless in Bamin(Fujian); the Nine Celestial Beings Appear on Top of  Penglai”. It is a provincial scenic spot and one of the ten best scenic spots in Quanzhou.
